There are currently no widespread power problems across the East and South East following high winds and heavy rain from Storm Dennis.
Engineers worked overnight and continue to work today to quickly and safely restore any power supplies,
where the weather damaged some localised parts of the network.
We understand how difficult it is to be without electricity.
In some locations engineering teams need to visit and carry out repairs on site before we can safely restore the power supply.

Our electricity network is built to be resilient but extreme weather can affect overhead power lines. This weekend, we have been ready for the weather and have extra field staff and call takers working to reconnect any affected power supplies and keep customers updated.
We urge the public to stay well clear from any damaged power lines and report it to us immediately.
As always our priorities in these situations are public safety and restoring supplies to customers as quickly and safely as possible.
Please treat electricity cables as live, stay away and call us immediately on 0800 31 63 105 or 105 (free to call from a landline or a mobile phone).
If you see electricity lines that are down or causing significant risk to the public please call 999.
